The Figtree had the amenities we were looking for and needed by this last week of our trip. We had a hair dryer, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and a great restaurant right on the premises. We had expected it to be a bit noisy with an Irish bar on site, but once the door was closed, we had privacy and quiet. The street outside was a little distraction, but the entire atmosphere made up for that.
Walking along the Esplanade was a joy and very educational. Snorkeling on the outer part of the reef was beyond description. It was one of the highlights of my life. There was a great Greek restaurant in town, too. I would skip the Night Markets next time.
