KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BOOKING BECAUSE THE APARTMENTS HAVE A VARIETY LAYOUTS

The appartments are well located, very modern, very well equipped and have modern comfortable furnishings. We had a fantastic harbour view from bed 2 and living area. It had a large balcony containing the dining setting. The issue we had related to our specific booking requirement for a king bedded room and the second room with twin beds. They don't have this and didn't advise, but rather just noted it as requested without bothering to advise it could not be provided.

The staff didn't seem to comprehend that some of us have specific requirements we expect to met. We ended up paying for another studio apartment in addition to the 2 beddroom booking. Be specific with your booking requirements and layout. Get confirmation. Our master bedroom didn't have a view and had an openning to the bath/ensuite. (Can't close off the toilet) The key to this place is knowing what you are getting.

The layout we had was quite different to the layout we expected from their website.

We hadn't been to Cairns for 30 years and really enjoyed it. We also stayed in Port Douglas and enjoyed that to. Great weather and plenty to see and do. The wide variety of eating places and coffee shops were a treat. The promenade is an example of what can be done to beatify a city. The botanic gardens are a definite visit. A most enjoyable day outing is to Kuranda by rail and Skyrail. The tablelands are worth a vist and we did this in a hire car.
