The apartment and the amenities were fantastic. The location of the property and its closeness to the Restaurant strip and the town centre made Waters Edge an "EXCELLENT" choice for our holiday accommodation. The pool area was very great with a good number of deck chairs to enjoy the sun and a safe area for the kids. We stayed in one of the swim out apartments and were very impressed with the apartment, modern, spacious and well laid out to enjoy the tropical ambiance of Cairns.
The outside patio area of the apartment which has private entry deck access to the pool was a great feature and an area we spent most of our time. Another attractions for the apartments was being able to walk across the road and a 10 minute stroll on the broad walk and you were in the centre of town.
Cairns is a great place to visit with plenty to see, and do. Make sure you visit the reef and take your sun cream with you. Then there is the beauty of the Daintree Rainforest which can be done as a day trip or you can drive and stay overnight.
